Hello, Bloodstained fans!
Recently we shared with you our roadmap for 2020. The first installment of that plan is here! Boss Revenge Mode and Chroma Wheel are the two latest features added to the game for free. What will each of these features include? Let’s find out…
Boss Revenge Mode
Get ready to turn the tables on the heroes of Bloodstained! Boss Revenge mode let’s you fight as one of Bloodstained’s deadly bosses: Andrealphus, Bathin, Bloodless, or Gremory.
Each boss comes has their own set of unique abilities and playstyles. The attacks that you previously worked so hard to avoid are now yours to command!
Once you’ve chosen your character, you’ll challenge a series of heroes: Zangetsu, Dominique and finally, Miriam. Each battle takes place in a pre-defined area. Once you enter, there is no turning back! You fight until you win or lose.
Defeat your opponent and you will teleport into a transition room where you can proceed to the next fight. A timer will record your completion time for each fight and your overall time. How fast can you finish?
While we’re always ready for a good fight, sometimes you want to look good while doing it, so we’ve updated the UI to give you more color options when you visit Todd the Demon Barber!
Instead of just a few pre-selected colors, you now have an entire range of colors to choose from. The new color options can be applied to Hair, Sub Hair Color (A new option!), Outfit, Sub Outfit Color, Skin and Eyes.
We are making some changes so you can access content more easily. This new patch will include the following adjustments:
Unlocked from the start, including new profiles, existing profiles that have not beaten the game:
- Speedrun Mode – Unlocked
- Randomizer Mode – Unlocked
- Boss Revenge Mode – Unlocked
- Zangetsu – Unlocked
Requires game progression to access:
- Boss Rush
- Hard Difficulty
- Nightmare Difficulty
We hope you enjoy Boss Revenge and Chroma Wheel. Thank you for being fans of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night!
